A system of land tenure where lands are divided into large sections called 'bhags'. The 'bhagdars' (landholders within a bhag) are collectively responsible for paying the government's revenue demands assigned to their division. This system was historically used in parts of Telangana, influencing land ownership and tax collection. It fostered a sense of community responsibility among the 'bhagdars' within each 'bhag'.
