ORDER
The present Complaint came up for hearing before this Authority on 10.07.2025.
However, none appeared on behalf of either party despite due service of notice to the
complainant and multiple opportunities extended by the Authority.
2.
The matter was first listed for hearing on 29.01.2025, on which date neither the
Complainant nor the Respondent appeared. Accordingly, this authority directed the issuance
of fresh notices to both parties and adjourned the hearing to 06.03.2025.
3.
On 06.03.2025, once again, both parties failed to appear. A perusal of the record
indicated that while the notice had been duly served upon the Complainant, the notice issued
to the Respondent was returned unserved. Granting another opportunity, this Authority directed
the issuance of fresh notices and adjourned the matter to 09.04.2025. This pattern of nonappearance persisted on the adjourned date of 09.04.2025, and also again on 10.06.2025,
compelling the Authority to repeatedly issue fresh notices and adjourn the proceedings, with
the final date set for 10.07.2025.
On 10.07.2025, despite repeated opportunities and due service of notices, both parties
remained absent and failed to take any steps to prosecute or contest the matter.
5.
In view of the continued absence of both parties and the apparent lack of interest shown
by the Complainant in pursuing the present Complaint, this Authority finds no merit in keeping
the proceedings pending any further.
6.
Hence, the Complaint is dismissed for non-prosecution.
