Is RERA registration mandatory for real estate agents in Telangana?

Yes. Under Section 9 of the RERA Act 2016, no agent can facilitate the sale or purchase of any plot, apartment or building in a RERA-registered project without registering with TG-RERA. Operating unregistered attracts a penalty of Rs 10,000 per day of default.
